C. Scott Manclark, Partner Scott joined CB Commercial Real Estate Group, Inc. in 1984, where he specialized in retail leasing and sales in South Los Angeles County for 10 years. Scott was a Senior Vice President when he resigned in late 1994. His expertise has been in all phases of the retail development process including the representation of both shopping center owners/developers and national/regional chain retailers. Scott has completed in excess of 400 real estate transactions representing a total consideration in excess of $400 million and totaling more than 2 million square feet of retail space. In 1995, Scott founded Cypress Retail Group with partners Bob Haas and Robert Walsh. Cypress Retail Group has gained a reputation with chain tenants and the retail development community as one of the top brokerage companies in the Greater Los Angeles market.
Robert (Bob) J. Haas, Partner Bob began his real estate career in 1984 at CB Commercial Real Estate Group in Glendale, California, where he specialized in retail leasing and sales in North Los Angeles County. Bob was a top producer within the region while at CB Commercial. Bob has completed in excess of 650 career transactions representing a total consideration in excess of $750 million. Bob was one of the original members of CB Commercial Retail Tenant Service Group where he represented chain retail and restaurant tenants in Southern California for four years. In 1995, Bob founded Cypress Retail Group with partners Scott Manclark and Robert Walsh. David (Dave) V. Binney, Partner
Dave began his real estate career with CB Commercial Real Estate Group, Inc. in 1990 and as an industrial sales associate specialized in sales and leasing of institutionally-owned industrial real estate in the South Bay of Los Angeles County. Since leaving CB Commercial and founding Cypress Retail Group in 1995 with partners Scott Manclark, Bob Haas and Bob Walsh, Dave has focused exclusively on retail sales and leasing, representing both shopping center owners, developers and landlords as well as nationally-recognized chain retail and restaurant users in South Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Tim Genske, Senior Broker
Tim began his real estate career in 1985 focusing exclusively on commercial real estate in Southern California. He joined CB Commercial (Glendale, CA) in 1989, where he first worked with Cypress partners Bob Haas and Bob Walsh. In 1998, Tim left CB Commercial to join a client, Halferty Development Company (HDC), as vice president of acquisitions. At HDC, Tim spent most of his time in California's Central Valley pursuing market/drug sites from Bakersfield to Fresno. In April 2004, Tim joined Cypress Retail Group as a senior broker. Tim utilizes his extensive expertise to oversee a growing investment division at Cypress and represents shopping center owners, developers, and chain retail/restaurant owners. Awards and Recognition
Andrea D. Garcia, Associate Broker Andrea joined Cypress Retail Group in 2002, specializing in marketing, leasing and administrative support in North Los Angeles County. Her extensive training under Bob Walsh and Bob Haas, both former CB veterans, allowed her to quickly transition to associate salesperson within the company. She represents shopping center owners, developers and chain tenants throughout Los Angeles County. Andrea's Baccalaureate in Business Management from the University of California State Northridge provides an excellent background for analyzing leasing and investment opportunities.
