Cypress Retail Group was formed in June 1995 by Bob Haas, Scott Manclark, Bob Walsh and Dave Binney, all former retail brokers with CB Commercial Real Estate Group. Its principals created Cypress Retail Group to meet the needs of retailers, developers, property owners and restaurant operators throughout Southern California. Their experience, a combined tenure of more than 100 years, and deal-making acumen, has allowed Cypress to become one of the best brokerage companies of its kind.

Since its inception, Cypress Retail Group has become an industry leader by providing clients with the most comprehensive service, technology and market knowledge available. The principals' individual creativity and focus is a key factor in the company's success. This focus has resulted in the completion of in excess of 1,600 transactions which have helped to shape the dynamic Southern California urban retail landscape.

Many of the country's finest retailers have entrusted their expansion plans to Cypress Retail Group. Beginning with Longs Drugs, the company has grown to representing numerous other retailers such as Bed Bath & Beyond, 24-Hour Fitness, Office Depot, Brinker Restaurants (Chili's, Corner Bakery), Bristol Farms and Chipotle Mexican Grill. In addition to their tenant business, Cypress has represented many of the region's finest developers marketing some of the most recognizable shopping centers in Southern California.

Today, with two offices in Los Angeles, Cypress Retail Group is well positioned to meet the needs of tenants and landlords from San Diego to Central California.
